I went over to Wisconsin on Friday, January,18, 2019 to shoot some landscape photos, of the Wisconsin Peninsula north east of Green Bay, WI. The trip was fun and exciting. All I did was pay for gas for the trip, knowing that I would be back in the Twin Cities sometime Saturday morning.
I guess the only thing that I would change about this trip is to do a half day of work on Thursday night. Meaning, I get off at 2am. So that I could get to the Wisconsin Peninsula earlier. Anyways. And make sure I slept all day on Thursday, which I didn't, I did sleep but not the whole day. The places where I shot the photos were (in order), Newport State Park, Door Bluff County Park, and Baileys Harbor Ridges Park. Then the last two photos were from my car, because I was too cold to care! LOL! Cost: In terms of the actual trip, it cost me about $60 in total for the gas and the day pass of the parks in the area, and over 800 miles on my car. I slept at rest areas. Why? It is just me and I trained myself to sleep in my car while I was in college, so it has its benefits. I guess if I had more money to splurge I would get myself an hotel but I didn't feel like spending more than I need. Also, I did pack two lunches for myself. That was my mini trip that I took on Friday!
