I will be hosting my membership part at Subscribe Star for the short and midterm range. Long term I will want to host it on this site directly. Subscribe Star is an alternative to Patreon due to various issues with Patreon, I can no longer do business with Patreon. Subscribe Star is by far a much better alternative. Once I have enough extra funds coming from Subscribe Star, I will want to switch over to this website directly. Why? I don't want to be tied to one company for my income. Plus I will also have my PayPal donate link as well.
Here are the benefits of supporting me via, Subscribe Star, EyeEm and PayPal, is to support my work as a photographer going around the country and hopefully around the globe (eventually), and taking photos at different places. And show casing God's Creation and man's creative works around the world (buildings and other man made structures). As of right now, I will do what I can to show case what I have shot around the upper Midwest of the United States of America. Eventually, I would like to, in theory make this as a full time job. That is my end goal, is to do this for a living. I do really enjoy my current job, but at the end of the day, I want to be free from a "9 to 5" job, in my case a third shift.

Make sure you read the rules, before you start posting. I decided to go down to Hastings, Minnesota, today, since it is a beautiful cloudy day, I figure why not! God, made this Earth and I want to take a few pictures to capture the landscape that God has created. Yes, even cloudy days are beautiful!
I went over to Wisconsin on Friday, January,18, 2019 to shoot some landscape photos, of the Wisconsin Peninsula north east of Green Bay, WI. The trip was fun and exciting. All I did was pay for gas for the trip, knowing that I would be back in the Twin Cities sometime Saturday morning.
I guess the only thing that I would change about this trip is to do a half day of work on Thursday night. Meaning, I get off at 2am. So that I could get to the Wisconsin Peninsula earlier. Anyways. And make sure I slept all day on Thursday, which I didn't, I did sleep but not the whole day. The places where I shot the photos were (in order), Newport State Park, Door Bluff County Park, and Baileys Harbor Ridges Park. Then the last two photos were from my car, because I was too cold to care! LOL! Cost: In terms of the actual trip, it cost me about $60 in total for the gas and the day pass of the parks in the area, and over 800 miles on my car. I slept at rest areas. Why? It is just me and I trained myself to sleep in my car while I was in college, so it has its benefits. I guess if I had more money to splurge I would get myself an hotel but I didn't feel like spending more than I need. Also, I did pack two lunches for myself. That was my mini trip that I took on Friday! |
